Upcoming Platform Maintenance: We’re Ready To Migrate Over - Take 2

We’re happy to report that we have resolved the network issue that held us back last week. Therefore, we are ready to move forward with our move to the AOL infrastructure. We have thoroughly tested the network and feel confident that the migration will move forward.

The actual migration will last from  6 PM Pacific on Thursday (11/13) until 6 PM Pacific on Friday (11/14). We are expecting an approximate 12 hour outage. During this time, the widgets will continue to be served and tracked as you would expect them to, but our site will be in maintenance mode, so you will not be able to access the dashboard or any of the components of the dashboard including reporting.  Reporting may be unavailable up to a week to complete the transfer of all reporting related data.

Again, we appreciate your patience and check back for additional information on our progress.

Update: We have successfully completed the migration.  In addition to migrating the core infrastructure, we were also able to migrate over all of the reporting databases so the system is now fully functional.  Please let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary and we will be sure to investigate.

Upcoming Platform Maintenance – We’re Ready To Migrate Over…

We excited to let everyone know that we are ready to move our current infrastructure at our co-location facility to our new AOL datacenterThe test migration that we conducted last week was very successful. We are highly confident that the actual migration will be just as smooth tomorrow.

 

The actual migration will last from 6 PM Pacific on Wednesday (11/05) until 6 AM Pacific on Thursday (11/06). We are expecting an approximate 12 hour outage. During this time, the widgets will continue to be served and tracked as you would expect them to, but our site will be in maintenance mode, so you will not be able to access the dashboard or any of the components of the dashboard including reporting.  Reporting may be unavailable up to a week to complete the transfer of all reporting related data.

UPDATE (11/06): Unfortunately, the network item is taking a little more time to work through than we originally had anticipated. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the migration until next week. 
We will continue to update this post with the latest information and will let you know the timing as soon as we can officially reschedule.
